Residents walk among the debris in Laputta, Irawaddy delta region, 08 May 2008 following Cyclone Nargis. Laputta is among the most affected areas. People from surrounding villages who escaped the cyclone have arrived and stay in makeshift camps inside and outside pagodas and schools. The original population of Laputta has doubled.
